To support our local Ghanaian community, GWAG attended the Ghanaian Film Premiere of Oku: Herbalist and Sculptor by filmmaker, storyteller and musician, Kofi Sankofa.
We had a wonderful turnout of existing, new and prospective GWAG members. We met the filmmaker along with several other guest speakers such as the founder and co-founder of The Black Achievement Fund. The night was enlightening as it gave each of us food for thought to stop and think about our health as well as our economic state.
