Since 2007, the Ghanaian Women’s Association of Georgia (GWAG) has made it a mission to support healthcare for women and children in Ghana. Through the mobilization and deployment of needed resources, we seek to increase access to healthcare in underserved communities and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
In the last two years, we have raised money to furnish and transform maternity wards at hospitals across various regions and towns in Ghana, and we hope to continue to do so for as long as we are able. Listed below are the hospitals we have helped so far, including those we are currently raising funds for.
