As part of its 10th Anniversary celebrations in Atlanta, Georgia, the Ghanaian Women's Association of Georgia has commissioned new executive officers to serve a two-year term in office. Speaking on behalf of the outgoing executives, outgoing president, Agnes Hayfron Barnor, welcomed the new executives to their new roles and urged them to continue the great work began by their predecessors. She also thanked the outgoing team for working diligently beside her over the last two years to move the association in the direction of growth and much success. The incoming executives, who will serve from 2018 to the end of 2019, are Adiza Harruna (President), Aileen Appiah-Conteh (Vice President), Nicole Twum-Baah (Secretary), Linda Darko (Treasurer), and Jacqueline Ansah (Public Relations Officer).

Wow, I just came across this website as an pan-Africanist never knew there were such an organization in GA. I would love to learn more about this organization and hopefully participate in future fundraisers. I’ve only been in Atlanta for 4 years, so there is a lot for me to discover. Kudos to me on this exciting journey.
